About DJ Sabine Blaizin
DJ Sabine Blaizin's work focuses on the exposure and pleasures of African diasporic music. Brooklyn Mecca, Cumbancha, and Oyasound are a few of her creative projects. She spins Global Soul—House, Afrotech, Afrobeat, Haitian Roots, and other diasporic tunes. As an artivist, DJ Sabine Blaizin continuously gives back and serves her African diasporic community. In this capacity, she is the director of programs at the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute and volunteers as the NY Deputy Ambassador for Haiti's She Builds Initiative. DJ Sabine Blaizin ultimately seeks to create new scholarship through the African and Haitian diasporic lens of music, culture, and spirituality.
About G.Brunot
Gabriel Brunot aka G.Brunot is a recording artist born and raised in the small city of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Brunot grew up exposed to musical greats which enticed him to pursue music as a career. He has been a singer since the age of six and discovered his passion for music at the age of 11. He was always active in his local church and never gave up an opportunity to sing. Brunot then started performing at local talent shows and received a lot of positive feedback. Singing wasn't his only gift—he became well-known in the dance scene and would dance battle on local street corners just for the sport of it. Brunot formed a small support team called "Team GBrunot." He traveled and performed in the United States, Europe, and Japan at various competitions and showcases. His brand has expanded to include song, dance, and fashion. Now living in New York City, Brunot is working on new projects, pursuing his lifelong passion for music, and is open to what the world has in store.
Tickets are only required for museum. Live music is free on the terrace.*
